Most rooms look out over the working harbour. Linen sheets, deep soaking tubs and windows that actually open to the sea air.
A spring-fed soaking pool, cedar sauna and two treatment rooms tucked into a walled garden. Day passes for guests are complimentary.
Breakfast is included and made to order. Dinner changes nightly around what the coastal farms and boats bring in.
Aster & Oak is a restored 1901 sea captain’s house run by the people who live upstairs. Every room is different, the front desk knows your name by the second morning, and there is always a fire lit in the parlour when it turns cold. We keep it small on purpose.
“We came for a weekend and stayed five nights. The harbour room, the sauna at dusk, the breakfast — it felt less like a hotel and more like being handed the keys to someone’s beautiful home.”
Booking direct is always the best rate — plus a free spa pass and late checkout when the room allows.
